Ethically, and sustainably sourced botanicals

Where East Meets West: A Fusion of Cultures in Every Bottle

Our key botanical, Oolong White tea, is handpicked and sourced directly from our family's land in Dibrugarh, Assam - India's renowned tea capital. The remaining botanicals are locally sourced, emphasizing sustainability. In Edinburgh, our gin is expertly distilled, harmonizing the delicate sweetness of Oolong with 12 other botanicals, to create a spirit that is both rich and refreshingly crisp.

FAQ's

The 13 botanicals we use are: Oolong White Tea, Juniper Berries, Cardamom Pods, Star Anise, Caraway Seeds, Black Pepper, Orange Peel, Lemon Peel, Cinnamon Quills, Clove Buds, Angelica Root, Coriander Seeds, Vetiver.

While Rutland Square Gin features the aromatic warmth of chai spices, it is not 'very spicy' in the traditional sense. The spices are carefully balanced with the natural sweetness of Oolong White tea, creating a harmonious and layered flavor profile, rather than an overpowering heat.

We understand the juniper is a prominent note. In Rutland Square Gin, we've meticulously balanced it with our unique botanical blend. This deliberate balance means that mixing our gin with different tonics and pairings creates a dynamic tasting experience, where each combination unlocks and unfolds various dimensions in taste.
