Short Biography

Nishant Sharma is an entrepreneur and visionary based in Edinburgh, bringing a wealth of professional experience and a deep sense of family legacy to his ventures.

Born in Assam, India, Nishant's personal story is intertwined with a rich family history, including that of his great-grandfather, an entrepreneur and spirits blender in the region of Dibrugarh. Nishant relocated to Scotland, which has been his home for nearly two decades.

Before transitioning to entrepreneurship, Nishant spent over a decade in the financial sector, honing his expertise in front, middle, and back office roles. A significant period was spent at BlackRock, where he was instrumental in building the Emirates pension fund. His background is also diverse, as he initially studied Creative Studies—Television & Film in Glasgow, contributing to projects for entities like the BBC.

Nishant's decision to launch his own venture was deeply personal, motivated by discovering his family's long-standing connection to the spirits industry. Despite facing substantial personal and financial challenges in his entrepreneurial pivot, his journey is driven by an unyielding determination to honor his heritage and build something of lasting value. He currently resides in Edinburgh with his wife, Veenu.
